Business Requirement
In 2018, Customer decided to get into subsidiary based joint venture to assemble vehicle parts. Primary business is assembly of vehicle components & motorcycles for export to vehicle assembly facilities located around the world thus engages in various supply chain and sourcing activities throughout Southeast Asia. Facilities were constructed from scratch hence IT infrastructure was setup from ground up.
Rollout Method
Customer is already running global instance of Dynamics 365 ERP in United States, Canada and Europe region managing manufacturing and supply chain. To accommodate the new requirement, a new legal entity was setup in existing Dynamics 365 ERP and financial ledger accounts, posting accounts, Fixed assets, Bank details, payment methods, Inventory management/ PIM were setup. Region specific data such as tax codes, Inco terms, charges, customers, suppliers were setup along with primary and secondary language translations updated for all user interface text and mouse pointer contextual help texts.
