About
Independent international wine merchant selling world class wine and spirits with a business model of “Direct-to-customer” with operations in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia. Provides professional services to wine retailers. Client was looking for robust Dynamics ERP partner to help implement and help with ongoing Microsoft Dynamics ERP for their day-today operations and upgrade to Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain management (formerly Finance & Operations) to integrate with customer portal and to seamlessly integrate with SAP and RedPrairie WMS solution. Dynamics ERP was a key application on their IT landscape integrating with both frontend, middleware and downstream reporting BI applications. Since the business is seasonal, data volume increased during peak business time such as Thanksgiving and Christmas / New Year. Hence, any change done to system must be benchmarked before it is rolled out.
Business Requirement
Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain ERP was successfully implemented in the United Kingdom.
Customer decided to implement ERP in the United States with Loyalty programs partnering with Journal subscription and leading airline loyalty program in the region. This includes running marketing campaign, promotions and custom application features specific to region.
Rollout Method
Neoteric built toggle controlled custom features that provides granular control over functionalities applicable at the country/ legal entity level. Customers, warehouses, suppliers remain isolated between each legal entity as per requirements and all critical customer data are encrypted at the database level.
Super users are provided with role-based permissions to control this toggle at the individual module-based setups such that any future business decision to scale the application to other regions can seamlessly use existing features and yet don’t overlap when turned off.
